Alvin and Celeste’s Wedding Puppy Brownie

posted in: Uncategorized | 0

Last Sunday I went to a friend’s wedding. Come to think of it, I’ve known her for about 7 years now. Time flies.  It was a cosy wedding, about 13 tables I think. It was a good size, small enough to ensure the couple manages to chat with everyone at the wedding, Which is what it’s about right? Sharing your happiness with people that matters and an opportunity to see and enjoy the company of your friends.

Lucky me, we shared the same friends when we were working together so I got to catch up with some of the ex-colleagues that I had lost touch with. Was surprised that we lost touch actually. So you can imagine, it was actually pretty fun.

There's me, Gabriel and Wang Kok Sing (It's funny I can only remember him by his full name.)

So in case you haven’t figured it out, I’m friends with the bride. Fun as always and she got so drunk but lovely as always. Funny story. When we were leaving, she grabbed me, pointed to her brother beside her and repeatedly said “Eligible”. And she wouldn’t let go. I can still remember the look of horror on his face, it was hilarious. And the funniest part was, the next day, she couldn’t remember a thing about pimping out her brother to me. It was fun. Love that girl.

So enough about my little adventure, presenting Alvin and Celeste’s Wedding Brownie!

View from the top... I keep thinking their expressions look different from the top and from the front.

The night before I asked Celeste what her favourite animals were. She said puppies… so here they are. Initially I wanted to put heart shaped confetti all over the cake but my stash got soft and I had to throw them out and decided to use these pearl dragees instead. I think they worked really nicely. What do you think?

I made them look like they were looking at each other. And I put Alvin’s paw on Celeste’s. Someone give me an awwwwww…

Back View! I really liked that veil.... I purposely made it flow a little over the side of the brownie to give it some movement.

Alvin, please take good care of Celeste. She’s a really good friend and I love her to death.

Hope you enjoyed these pictures. Given these are my second wedding animal brownies, I’m considering doing a series. Let me know if you think it’ll be a good idea and let me know what other designs you would like to see!

Have a great week everyone!
